Helen Rita Disonell

Helen Rita Disonell, 85, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Troy, New York. Born January 23, 1939. Helen was known for her vibrant and lively spirit, enriching the lives of those around her.

Helen was the owner of Shaker Tire Sales, where she dedicated many years to serving the community with dedication and integrity. 

Helen will be cherished by her loving family, daughters, Carla Gizzi, Cynthia Comitale, and Colleen Decker; sons, Christopher and Carl Disonell; son-in-laws, Doug Decker and Dominick Comitale; daughter-in-law, Roselyn Disonell; grandchildren, Samara Langener, Courtney Vogel, Jennifer Fitch, Stacy Gizzi, James Vogel, Andrew Gizzi, Ryan Decker, and Kyle Decker; and great-grandchildren, Scarlett Morrison, London Pennick, Lyric Pennick, Ida Langener, Isla Fitch, Miles Langener, Maverick Vogel, and Romeo Vogel; sister, Jacqueline Hanley and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Helen is predeceased by her parents, Henrietta and Francis O'Brien; her loving husband, Carl J. Disonell; son-in-law, Thomas Gizzi; and many dear family members.

A private service will honor Helen's life and legacy.

Helen's presence will be deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her.
