Helen E. Rosencrans

Helen Elizabeth Rosencrans, 94 of Albany, New York, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Peter's Hospital. Born November 15, 1926 Helen was predeceased by her parents John and Florence Gleason and her brother John Gleason and her late husband John Francis Rosencrans and her grandson Courtney A. Rosencrans. She has six children: John (Carol) Rosencrans, William (Rita) Rosencrans, Anne (Craig) Parker, Michael Rosencrans, Jean (Joseph) Mullen, Mary Ann (Michael) Chase. Helen has 14 grandchildren Kelley (Jeffrey) Jensen, Sue (Greg) Snyder, Billy (Amanda) Parker, Jennifer (Michael) Carrillo, John Mullen, Joseph Mullen, Justin (Kelly) Mullen, Jamie Mullen, Jeffrey Mullen, Jared Mullen, Jessica Mullen, Kimberly (Kevin) McHugh, Michael (Maureen) Chase and Matthew (Rachelle) Chase, granddaughter-in-law Jennifer Rosencrans, 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Helen was a loving and caring person who always had a smile and a calming presence to all that she met. She loved her family so very much and cherished the times they spent together. She was everyone's favorite, as she truly made everyone feel special and loved beyond words. She was our angel on earth and now our angel in heaven.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, 41 Jolley Rd, Glenmont, NY 12077.
