MECHANICVILLE – Helen V. Caron, 85, passed away at home on Saturday, June 26, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Born in East Greenbush, she was the daughter of the late Pietrantionio and Angela Marie Corellis. Helen was a long time resident of Mechanicville. Helen is the beloved mother of Helen "Judie" (Allen) Childrose of South Carolina and Angeline Villano of Mechanicville. She is the loving sister of Anna Golden and the late Rose Marie, Joseph, Frank, Mamie, Louis, Jennie, Louis, Anthony, Katherine, Marion, Marguerite, Lucy and Irene. She is the cherished grandmother of Terrance E. Duell, Anthony J. Duell, Alicia Borini, Kimberly Rushia, Gina Childrose-Hunt and Paul DeSorrento. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Cameron Rogers Duell, Zachary, Brittany and Chelsea Hunt, Alex and Isabella Borini and Thomas and Catherine Rushia as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Community Hospice of Saratoga for all of the care and support they gave to Helen during her illness.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Helen V. Caron.
