ALBANY—Helen W. Cole, 88, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 31st following a brief illness.
Helen was born in Albany, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Sarah Weis. Helen lived as a homemaker caring for her husband and children. She was avid baseball fan. She was an avid shopper, especially QVC, where she knew all the on-air sellers by name. She enjoyed crafts and loved gardening, outdoor work and being out in the fresh air.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Millard Cole; 2 brothers and a sister.
Survivors include her devoted sons, Michael A. Cole and his wife Jean Marie, Neil B. Cole and his wife Susan; adoring grandson, Mark A. Cole; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, November 4th at 9 am from the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road (rt. 155 south of Central Ave.), thence to Christ the King Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 4 to 7 PM. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 4:30 PM for a service of remembrance. All are welcome.
