Helena A. Nowak, 92, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2015 at Albany Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her parents Helena was predeceased by her beloved husband, John C Nowak; her siblings Bernice Sommers, Jayne Hillenbrandt, Charles Matulewicz, Anthony Matulewicz.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Memorial Hospital and the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County for all of the care and compassion given to Helena.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 9:30 am at The Catholic Church of St. Mary's, 163 Columbia Street, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
