Helene Y. Bombard

Helene Yvonne Bombard, 88, passed away peacefully April 10, 2025, reuniting with her true love, Roger. Born on July 22,1936 in Peasleeville, NY to her loving parents Joseph and Anna Trombley. Helene married Roger Bombard on June 30,1956. Helene was the beloved mother of Brenda Riley, Tammy Monette and Randy Bombard. Helene, also known as Gma to many, is survived by her grandchildren; Nickole Sutliff (Stephen), George Riley (Katie), Shaun Monette (Katie), Melissa Terry (Curtis), Emily Bombard, Lily Lester (Bryce) and Sierra Bombard. As well as her great grandchildren; Kaydence, Skye, Lexi, Lachlan, Lily, Hailee, Evelynn, Josie, Kynsleigh, Ainsley, and Mac. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. There is nothing she cherished more than her family.

Helene is predeceased by her husband, Roger Bombard. As well as her two sisters; Agnes Boyd, Florence Baker and her brother Herman Trombley. She is also predeceased by her fur-baby Sadie. Helene in her early years loved working on the farm and she was a house cleaner. She loved attending church, going camping, hosting garage sales, sleigh riding, going out to eat, doing puzzles, playing card games and helping others.

Her family would like to thank the Hospice staff, Dr. Papuzza, and Dr. Ian Sherman.

Visitation will be 9:30 am to 10:30 am, immediately followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday, April 21, 2025 at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Rd, Latham, NY 12110. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, 983 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
