Helene Carro-Freitag

Helene Carro, 53, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on March 30, 2016. Helene was a devoted mother, daughter, sister and wife. She had a huge heart and always put others before herself. She enjoyed spending time at her camper in the Catskills. Helene had a love for all animals, especially her cats.

She was the daughter of the late James and Kathyrn Carro.

Helene is survived by her son Alex Meyers; Karl Freitag and his son Douglas; brother James (Sharon) Carro and their children Millie (Dan), Beth, Emma (Joe) and Jimmy. She is also survived by her beloved Aunt Emily Skinkle and numerous cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10 am to 12 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY. A memorial service will follow at 12 pm.
