GLENVILLE- Helene Miller of Glenville, died Thursday March 23, 2006 at the Avenue Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born in Peekskill and the was the daughter of the late Bernard and Martha Graubart.
She had worked for the General Electric Company and at Flah's Deaprtment Store in Albany. Helen was a member of the South Schenectady Fire Dept and Rotterdam VFW Post 1895 Ladies Axillaries.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Fred Miller; her son, Fred G. Miller and his wife Sandra of Niskayuna; granddaughter Beth Birman and her husband Karl ; grandson Jeffrey Miller. Sister in law of Catherine Russo, Erwin Miller, Richard Miller and Albert Russso.
Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 10:30 at Schenectady Memorial Park, Giffords Church Rd. in Rotterdam. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street Schenectady, NY 12308 or to the charity of one's choice.
A period of mourning will be offered at 2311 Dean Street, Niskayuna on Sunday and Monday evenings.
