COLONIE - Henry S.Skadra, 75, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 21, 2023.
Henry was born on March 23, 1948 in Troy, NY and was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Valachovic) Skadra. He worked as a Maintenance Foreman at the Latham Water District for the Town of Colonie for 35 years. Henry enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, Corvettes, hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor activities, as well as a occasional Shania Twain concert, and his beloved dog, Kyle.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Linda J. (Durocher) Skadra; his children, Linda Denney (Mark), Linda Skadra (Gino), Bruce Edwards (Samantha), William Skadra and Thomas Edwards (Rebecca), his brother, Milton "Skip" Skadra (Marie); several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the request of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House in memory of Henry.
