ROTTERDAM- Herta Giesselmann, 93, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Kingsway Nursing Home.
Herta was born in Seelze, Germany on August 14, 1922. She worked as a nurse in Germany before moving to the U.S. in 1952 with her husband and her two sons.
She is predeceased by her husband of over 35 years, Ernest.
She is survived by her loving sons; Gunther (Karen) Giesselmann, and Dieter (Dallas) Giesselmann, her grandchildren; Becky (Dave) Stern, and Brian (Erin) Giesselmann, and her cherished great-grandchildren; Jacob, Caleb, Carissa, and Tyler.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00am, at Schenectady Memorial Park, 566 Giffords Church Rd, Schenectady, NY 12306
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Herta's name to Community Hospice.
