Hilda M. Catalfamo, 89, of Voorheesville, passed away surrounded by family on May 31, 2021.
Born in Jay, NY, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Julie Ward.
Hilda was a Loving Mother of 5 kids as well as an avid reader. In her younger years she worked as a telephone operator as well as a lunch lady at school.
In addition to her parents , she was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Joseph Catalfamo Sr.
She is survived by her children Charles J Catalfamo Jr., Trina Collins ( Joseph) John J. Catalfamo (Karen) James J Catalfamo (Ruth) and Gail Bardwell (Steve). Grand Children: Karen Romano (Tom),Tara Catalfamo (Corey),Diana Catalfamo, Josh Catalfamo, Robyn Collins (Anthony),Jessica Catalfamo, Julia Black (Ryan) and Cody Bardwell. Great Grandchildren: Alaina S. Romano, Madison M. Romano and Vanessa Catalfamo.
Her siblings: Phil Ward (Merna), Dick Ward (Debbie), Dennis Ward (Sue), Harold Ward (Connie), Amos Ward (Alice), Sharon Rosio (Jim),Jean Snow (John),Linda Cumm (Ted),Barb Hardy (Keith), Don Ward (Stella), and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 9 from 11:00am to 12:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York. Graveside service to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
