ALBANY_Howard C. Walters, Jr., 76, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Howard was born on July 10, 1939 to the late Howard Sr. and Rosalie Jennings Walters in Albany, NY.
Howard attended the Rome School For The Deaf. He relocated to the capital district after school and worked for 30 years at Smith's Paper Company in Albany. Howie was a member of a bowling league for the deaf in Latham. He was devoted husband and a loving father, a loyal friend. Howie enjoyed making those around him laugh and smile. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Howard is survived by loving wife, Darlene Walters; children, Timothy B. Walters, Sr., Nicole M. Walters; grandchildren, Timothy L. (Joanna)Walters Jr., Justin L. Walters, Amber L. Walters, Travis H. Walters; great-grandchildren, Joseph Walters, Zachary Walters, Braden Walters, Isabella Walters, Jacob Walters; sisters, Carole Hotaling, Terry Carson, Helen LaMountain; brothers, Dennis (Donna) Walters and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by son Howard C.Walters, III; siblings, Patricia Campbell, Donald Walters, Deanna Pulsifer, Thomas Walters, Linda Toth.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie, New York. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm immediately following vistation on Thursday. Interment will be held following services at Albany Rural Cemetery.
