Howard S. Daggett

ALBANY – Howard S. Daggett, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at The Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital.
Howard was born in Upper Jay and was the son of the late Harvey Foster and Hazel E. (Sumner) Daggett. He was a home builder for over 30 years in Syracuse and retired in 1984. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Howard is survived by his wife of 6 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Bruni Daggett; his sister, Lucille Daggett Morhous; his nieces and nephews, Ted Morhous, Jeannette Morhous Conti, Linda Morhous Cortese, Carol Daggett Chauvin, Margaret Daggett Chippalone, and John, Michael and Brian Daggett. He is also survived by many great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack Daggett.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Wednesday from 5 to 7p.m. A committal service will be held at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery in Upper Jay, NY.
