I. Magdalena Rivera

Menands - I. Magdalena Rivera, age 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on September 30, 2018 at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Jorge E. and Myrthala Rivera (aka Pa and Ma).

She missed her parents very much and is now with them. She was a tough cookie for a long time, overcoming all of the challenges that came her way. Magdalena had a huge and giving heart.

Magdalena is survived by her brother and sister in law Jorge and Kika and her furry and feather companions, Xolo, Chinelo, Pedrito and Niko.

Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY. All are invited to attend her services at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Magdalena's memory may be made to Hospice Inn, c/o The Community Hospice Foundation, Gift Processing Center, 310 South Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
