Ida G. Betz

LATHAM – Ida G. Betz, 95, of Latham, entered into eternal rest on Friday October 23, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Laurena Schenmeyer and widow of the late Jacob W. Betz.
In her earlier years, she was employed by the RCA Corporation where she met her husband. Later, she was a homemaker and together they raised 3 children. Ida is the mother of William J. (Linda) Betz, Barry T. (Helen) Betz Sr., and the late Barbara J. Kohler. She is the cherished grandmother of Barry T. Jr., Brandon T. and Nicole G. Betz. Sister of Vera Briggs and the late Dorothy Smith, Randall, Edward and Eugene Schenmeyer. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
