Irene A. Rees

Irene A. Rees, 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Irene was born in Maesteg, Wales UK., living in the US for over 46 years.
Irene loved to travel with her family and friends. Taking cruises and traveling with her husband, and vacationing with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them play in many sporting events especially soccer, softball, lacrosse and football games.
Irene is survived by her husband David Rees, whom she married on St. David's day March 1st over 54 years ago. She is the cherished mother of Robert Rees and his dear friend Colleen, Lisa Hogan and her husband Keith, adored grandmother of Christopher and Jessica Hogan, and Megan Rees. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws and many cousins in Great Britain, and has left behind many close friends here and at her other home in Sun City Center Florida.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at Memorial Hospital especially the staff on the 6th floor for all of the care and compassion given to Irene.
