LATHAM- Irene J. Guyette, 83, of Latham, passed away on Saturday June 24, 2006 at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy after a long illness.
She was born in Labadieville, Louisiana and was the daughter of the late Eugene and Julie Sobert Boudreaux. Irene had worked as a clerk at FW Woolworth's in Latham for many years. She was an avid gardener and a former communicant of St. Ambrose Church. She was predeceased in 1994 by her husband Luke A. Guyette.
Irene is the beloved mother of Harold J Guyette (Barbara), Malcolm Guyette (Theresa), and Mary Guyette. She is the sister of Inez Fisher ( late William) and the late Eugene Boudreaux. She is the grandmother of Rebecca Guyette and Maureen Hans. Great Grandmother of Devin Guyette.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning at 9:00 at St. Ambrose Church ,Latham. There will be no calling hours. Entombment will be in Most Holy redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Memorial contributions may be to Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center, 2256 Burdett Ave Troy, NY 12180 in memory of Irene J. Guyette.
