Irene E. Roberts

Irene E. Roberts, 90, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2021 at home.

Born in Greenfield, MA, she is the daughter of the late Ernest and Helen (Abrams) Rehmer.

Irene loved spending time with family and friends, she especially enjoyed being at her camp in Wells. She loved to sing (her special and silly songs), and make people laugh. She enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing the piano.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her late husbands, William "Bill" Saul and Alcime "Al" Roberts, brothers, Charles, Ernie and Evie and her sister Shirley, son Michael J. Roberts and granddaughter Vickie Vannie.

Irene is survived by her children Marsha (Ron) Hargitt, Marshall (Merilee) Roberts, Myla (Jim) Taylor, Mindy Roberts, Mikki Currado, stepchildren Ruth Davis, Richard (Trudie) Roberts, Albert (Karen) Roberts, Nancy (Craig) Rose, Daughter in law Rhonda Roberts, siblings, Dennis (Carol) Rehmer, Elaine (Tom) Lewis, as well as her 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and nieces and nephews.

A special Thank You to the Drs, Nurses and Staff at the Eddy Senior Care in Schenectady, especially to the Day Care Aides who provided their love and support over the last 13 years.

Visitation will be held Tuesday March 16 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York.
