Irene Tompkins, 72, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at The Grand Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Irene was the daughter of the late John and May (Turek) Oleksowicz.
She was the devoted wife of over 36 years to Robert E. Tompkins.
She worked as a librarian at Mercy College at Dobbs Ferry and at Lake Luzerne Library.
Irene is survived by her husband Robert E. Tompkins, her children, Elizabeth Oherron and Robert (Jacqueline) Tompkins. She is the proud grandmother of Dominick and Sean. She is also survived by her sister Carol (Joe) Yatsko.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Parkinson's Foundation 200 SE 1st Street
Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131 in Irene's memory.
