Irva M. Fitzmaurice

BALLSTON SPA - Irva "Todd" Metcalf Dodge Fitzmaurice, 86, passed away on April 28, 2007 at Maplewood Manor Nursing Home. Born in Bayonne, NJ on September 16, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Nellie Paschal Metcalf. She was also predeceased by her two husbands, Ford Dodge and Robert Fitzmaurice and her daughter, Kathryn Dodge Cravotta.
Irva graduated from Horace Mann High School Manhattan in 1937 and Russell Sage College in 1941 and spent her career as a physical ed teacher at South Colonie High until she retired in 1979. She was an avid member of Chapter 51 of the Tri Valley Holiday Ramblers and also the Hill Country Cloggers. She loved music and enjoyed playing piano.
Irva is survived by her grandson, Jason Cravotta and his wife, Kirston of Melina, NY; her brother, Tom Metcalf and his family of Hawaii; her dear friends, Susan and Mike LaMontain of Ballston Spa and several nieces and nephews.
