Isabelle Crandall

SCHENECTADY-Isabelle Crandall, 79 passed away on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Ellis Hospital following an illness. She was born in Bacon Hill, NY the daughter of the late Herbert and Bertha (Lucey) Mabb. Isabelle volunteered in the office at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady and retired from Mt. Pleasant Middle School as a paraprofessional. She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leon T. Crandall, Sr., whom she married on March 28, 1953, a son Leon T. Crandall, Jr., two sisters Mildred Mondoux and Lillian Hoffman and a brother Robert Mabb.
Isabelle is survived by her two daughters Linda and Joseph Kelleher of Schenectady and Susan Crandall and Robert Williams of Pattersonville; brother George Mabb; many nieces and nephews and close friend Marion Jackson.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a funeral service to immediately follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Vale Cemetery, 907 State St. Schenectady, NY 12307 in memory of Isabelle.
