Isabelle F. Zahner

GUILDERLAND, NY – Isabelle F. Harrison Zahner, 94, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2009 with her daughter Sharon and grandsons, Kevin and Ryan by her side. She was a resident of Guilderland for over 20 years and worked in retail for many years before her retirement. Isabelle loved her flowers and gardening and was an avid N.Y. Yankees fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Isabelle is survived by her husband, John J. Zahner. She is the devoted mother of Sharon Hearley and Sandra Hartmann. She is the cherished grandmother of Kevin and Ryan Hearley and MacKenzie Hartmann. Also surviving is her niece, Bonnie Fish and her cousin, Dorothy Ruth Adams. Isabelle was predeceased by her first husband, William M. Harrison.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A calling hour will precede the service from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to St. Peter's Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, 301 Hackett Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Isabelle F. Zahner.
