GILDERLAND_Ishmael Hendricks, 65, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016 with his family at his side at Albany Medical Center.
He was born on August 17, 1950 to the late Nicodemus and Mary (Rhymer) Hendricks at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
Ishmael worked in parking and security in the Film Industry in New York, NY for over 20 years.
On July 9, 1995 he married Nancy Jacobs. He raised his family in Brooklyn before relocating to Guilderland in 2007.
Ishmael is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nancy Jacobs Hendricks and their daughter, Jessica Hendricks, his son Nicodemus Hendricks, John Hendricks and their mother Susan Russell and his daughters, Sonia Hendricks and Dion Hendricks; his siblings; his brother-in-law James and his wife Jen Jacobs and his special nephews, Aiden and Ciaran and many other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister, Paulette.
