GROTTERIA, ITALY – Isidoro Vincenzo Tarzia, passed away unexpectedly from this life to eternal life during his annual trip to Albany, which was his second home. He was born in Grotterio, Reggio Calabria Italy, on June 20, 1947. He was a professor of science and math and was admired by his colleagues and loved by his students. Mr. Tarzia taught at Scuola Media Statale di Cavlonia Marina in Calabria, Italy. This sad announcement is made by his brothers, Salvatore Tarzia, Giuseppe Tarzia and his wife, Eleonora; his nephews, Domenico Tarzia, Antonello Tarzia and his wife, Wilma; his uncle, Salvatore Tarzia; his cousins, Vincenzo Tarzia and his wife, Lina, Corrado and Giuseppe Tarzia, Corrado Iannizzi, Dominic Tarzia and many other cousins. He will be remembered by his brothers for his love, dedication, honesty and his sense of justice. His nephews are forever grateful for his constant fatherly presence, which was demonstrated at times with punishment, but mostly as mediator and advisor.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services and interment will be held in Italy.
