Jack M. Kuhn, 85, of Colonie, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 16, 2009.
He was born on July 10, 1924 in Jersey Shore, PA to the late, Nathaniel and Ella Kuhn. He was raised at the Mooseheart Orphanage in Chicago, IL.. Jack was a US Army Veteran serving his country in WWII. He was a long time employee for the State of New York as an accountant. His true passion was officiating at numerous youth sports, including basketball, football, soccer, softball and little league baseball. Jack was the beloved husband for 42 years, to the late Ann Hency Kuhn. In addition to his wife, Jack, was predeceased by his sons, Alan and Jeffrey Kuhn.
He is survived by his children, Nancy (Chris) Brumley of Centennial, Colorado; Timothy (Denise) Kuhn of East Greenbush, New York and Karen Kuhn of Greenwood, Indiana. He is the cherished grandfather of Kelsie, Andrew and Austin Brumley and Zachary and Nicholas Kuhn.
Funeral services will be Saturday, at 11:00 am at the New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road Colonie (rt. 155 – south of central ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. Internment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie.
