LATHAM Jack O'Connor – it is with profound sadness that the family of Jack O'Connor shares his sudden passing on Tuesday, May 18, 2021.
Jack is the son of the late J.Andrew O'Connor and Marcia O'Connor who survives.
Jack was a loving brother and son, selfless and kind. He loved working with his hands; whether fixing one of his many cars or helping out anyone in need of a handyman. He had a great love for music, and playing his guitar. He was a graduate of Shaker High School, and attended Hudson Valley Community College. Jack will be missed dearly by all those he touched with his well-meaning, kindhearted soul.
In addition to his father he was preceded by his grandparents; Ann and Andrew Callahan, and John O'Connor, as well as his aunt Katie O'Connor. In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother, Dan O'Connor; grandmother Kathy O'Connor, great aunt Joan Burke (Ted) ; aunts and uncles, Mary B. Vennard (Dan), Kara Kearney (Kevin), Maura Collins (Ed). Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church. Calling hours will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albany Medical Center Transplant Unit or Shelters of Saratoga.
