Jack R. Sussman, Jr.

LOUDONVILLE – Jack R. Sussman Jr., 62, of Loudonville, passed away Sunday February 15, 2009 at Albany Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born October 21, 1946 in Albany and was the son of the late Jack and Betty Green Sussman and cherished grandson of the late Dorothy Holler. Jack served in the US Navy from 1965 -1971 and was stationed on the USS Saratoga. A Loudonville resident for 35 years, he was semi retired and working at Sears. Jack enjoyed working in his yard, his pets and spending time with his loving grandchildren.
He is the beloved husband of Lynne DeVoe Sussman. Jack is the loving father of Jack R. Sussman 3rd and Tracy E. Sussman. He is the devoted grandfather of Mikayla and Zackary Sussman and Danielle Miller. Jack is the brother-in-law of Sandra (DeVoe) Vigars and Charles (Ann) DeVoe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Friday from 11:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Estherville Animal Shelter, 100 Russell Road, Greenfield Center, NY 12833 in memory of Jack R.
