COLONIE- Jacob Amsler Jr., 93, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Hospice of Cincinnati-Blue Ash IPU after a brief illness.
Mr. Amsler was born in Albany, the son of the late Jacob Amsler Sr. and Louise Raible.
Jacob was predeceased by his wife, Minerva Nichols Amsler and is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Jerry) Hunt and Marilyn Hull; his granddaughters, Kelly (Lowell) Harp, Melissa (Kyle) Juliano and Kristen (Sigmund) Ausfresser; great-granchildren, Austin, Brianna and Courtney Harp, Landon Ausfresser and Adelaide Juliano. Jacob was predeceased by his sister, Jane Finegan.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, December 19, 2016 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 from 12-1pm. Entombment will be in Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati-Blue Ash IPU, 4360 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45242 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104.
