ALBANY-Jacob Becker 3rd, 85 years of age, loving husband of Margaret (Ashline) Becker for 61years passed away peacefully at Memorial Hospital Jan 20th, 2015. Born Jan 17, 1930 Albany, NY, son of the late Rose (Kelly) and Jacob Becker Jr. Grandson of Jacob Becker.
Jake had been a past business executive at J. Becker & Sons Inc., and President/Owner of Northeast Thermo King. He also served in the US Navy during the Korean War.
Survivors in addition to his wife, include his 5 children, spouses, and 9 grandchildren; Lance Becker and grandsons Craig and Eric, Bruce Becker and granddaughters Erin and Maya, Scott & Ellen Becker and grandsons Max and Sam, Lynne Becker and granddaughters Alexandria and Natalie, Joyce & John Yanusas and granddaughter Elyse.
Jake was predeceased by his sister Lois, brothers, James and Lawrence; survived by his sisters Jane Rauch and Rosemary Smead.
At the family's request, a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers and donations, Jake would wish for you to enjoy and celebrate life.
