Jacob L. Lochner Iv

ALBANY – Jacob L. Lochner IV, passed away on February 27, 2012 after a long illness. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late Dr. Jacob L. and Julia Lochner.
He owned and operated Silverstein's Small Engine Repair Shop and Toy Store on Central Ave in Albany for many years. He left the retail business for a position as business officer at the Albany County Jail until his retirement in 1996. Jacob was a lifelong member of the Albany Elks # 49.
He was predeceased by his brother Stephen E. Lochner. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lochner of Albany; his children, Barbara Ashby of Paducah, KY, Deborah (Frank) Finn of Sevierville, TN, Susan (Davie) Caesar of Delmar, Faith (Lyle) Hartog of Albany and Dr. Jacob L. (Melanie) Lochner V, of Jupiter, FL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 nieces.
