COLONIE - Jacqueline A. Halter, 82, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2012 at Evergreen Commons Nursing Home in East Greenbush.
Jacqueline was born on April 13, 1930 in Milton, MA and was the daughter of the late George B. and Barbara June (Smith) Wilson, beloved wife of the late, Arthur B. Halter and sister of the late Elaine Macri.
Jacqueline attended the College of St. Rose and worked for a short time for the NYS Department of Labor before raising her family. She loved to dance, read – especially the newspaper and biographies, shopping and most importantly - spending time with her family.
Jacqueline is survived by her loving children, Arthur B. Halter Jr. (Nancy), Richard W. Halter, John L. Halter (Debbie), G. Scott Halter (Eileen), Cheryl Halter, and Nancy Boni (Patrick), and her cherished grandchildren, Keith, Jason, Brendan, Zachary, Scott Jr., Noah, Madison, Nicholas, Hannah, and Jesse.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 So. Pearl St., Albany, NY 12202 in memory of Jacqueline A. Halter.
