HALFMOON- Jacqueline S. Miller, 81, passed away on Friday, December 12th, 2014, at Ellis Hospital, with her family by her side.

Jackie was born in East Greenbush, NY, on March 7th, 1933, to the late Sally and Edmonde Eades. She was the wife of the late Lawrence "Chief" Miller. She was employed at Sterling Winthrop for many years as a Packaging Clerk.

Jackie leaves behind her two daughters; Judith (Ed) Mnich, Nancy (Nick) Slish, her grandchildren; Marissa and Meagan Mnich, and Nicholas and Ally Slish, her step-children; Robert (Terry) Miller, and Rose (Dave) Holmes, her siblings; Jo McGarry, Patricia (Richard) Pettengill, Nick (Dellaphene) Eades, and Lee Coletta.

She is predeceased by her brother, Edmonde Eades, and her sister, Marguery Berger.

Jackie was a caring and compassionate person, who could talk to anyone about anything. Her family will remember many trips to Hampton Beach. She will be remembered for her love of bowling and traveling to visit with family. Family was very important to her and she will be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY, on Monday, December 15, 2014, from 4:00pm-6:00pm. A graveside service will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery on Wednesday, December 17th, 2014 at 10:00am.


Donations may be made in Jackie's name in lieu of flowers to the American Lung Association.
