Jacqueline Myers

Jacqueline A. Myers "Jackie", 64, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at St. Peters Hospital after a brief illness. Jackie was born in Troy to the late Harry and Genevieve Fink. She is now at rest with her heavenly father. Jackie worked for the Department of Social Services in Albany also as a hostess at Grandmas for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking long road trips with family and friends and just being a caretaker. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Jackie is survived by her beloved children, Mark (Rose) Myers, Keith Myers and Renee Stratton. She is the cherished grandmother of Rashad, Shawn, Starr, Clayton, Alexis, Sierra and Joshua.

The family would like to thank the entire nursing staff at St. Peters Hospital especially the 6th floor Oncology and the ICU department for all their care and compassion given to Jackie. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Victory Christian Church 118 Quail St., Albany, NY or to K-LOVE 94.5 FM Ravena, NY or to the Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany NY 12205 in Jackie's memory.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Internment will be private at the convenience of the family.
