Jahmeer J. Lewis

Troy- Jahmeer J. Lewis, 26, passed suddenly on Monday, August 20, 2018 surrounded by his family. Jahmeer is survived by his parents Juanita M. Lewis and Shawn Hoke. Jahmeer is also survived by his children, Jahmella, Auriella and Amiya as well as his siblings, Joshua, Jahmel, Diana, Damar, James B. , Shamir, Rashawn, Quashawn, Kison and Shawnasia, aunts, Angie and Katrina and special friend Michelle, uncles, Miles, Sonny and Junior.
Jahmeer is also survived by his paternal grandfather, Richard D. Hoke Sr. and his maternal grandmother, Diana Forette. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Hoke.

Jahmeer loved writing his own music and spending time with Elijah and Mateak who were like brothers to him.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Jahmeer's children. Donations can be mailed or dropped off to the funeral home.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, New York 12189. A funeral service will immediately follow starting at 3:00pm.
