James A. Rossman

Albany – James Allen Rossman, Sr., 64, entered into eternal life on June 29, 2014. Born in Albany on December 5, 1949 he is the son of the late Mary Louise Sheldrick and Leonard Jacob Rossman.

James enjoyed music, cooking, and was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees and the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. James was an avid Scrabble and Chess player, having competed in many tournaments throughout the years.

In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his siblings, Jeanne, Joyce, William and Glen.

James is survived by his children, Lora, Lisa, James Jr., Dana, Staci and Julie; his siblings, Mary (Barry), Kenneth Sr., John, Rusty, Barbara and Shirley. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for James will be Saturday July 5that 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Memory Gardens.
