James L. Bacon

Grafton---James L. Bacon, age 68, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family at St. Peter's Hospital on April 4, 2018.
He was the son of the late Mae T. Bacon and James H. Bacon.
James was an Army Veteran of Vietnam War.
He retired as a Baker from Freihofer's in Albany. He was a Coach for the Brunswick Little League for many years. He was a diehard Notre Dame Football fan.
Jim is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debra Bacon; his two sons: Tyler and Taylor Bacon; his sister, Gail Salamida and her two sons: Michael (Ashley) and Christopher Salamida; his brother in law John (Flo) and their two children Travis and Kelsey. Also survived by his two canine companions and many close friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 3 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY.
Memorial contributions in Jim's memory may be made to the Brunswick Little League Majors Division, PO Box 172, Cropseyville, NY 12052.
