COLONIE- James J. Coleman, 68, of Colonie, passed away on Friday June 8, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Troy and was the son of the late James and Anna Bayer Coleman.
Jim was a US Army veteran. He worked with the Turbine Division at General Electric Company in Schenectady for 28 years, retiring in several years ago. Jim was a classic car enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and relaxing at Sacandaga Lake and Pine Lake.
He is the beloved father of Lisa A.(Edward) Teller of Scotia. He is the devoted brother of Marlene (Joseph) Walsh of Ballston Lake and the late Lorraine Soltys. He is the cherished grandfather of Patrick, Liam and Ryan Teller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 8:30 at NewComer-Cannon Family funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155s-outh of Central Ave) then to St. Clare's Church at 9:00 where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
