James Davis

COLONIE- James D. Davis, 57, of Colonie, passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 14, 2005. He was born in Plattsburgh and was the son of the late Donald and Anita Davis. Jim was a Colonie resident for over thirty years.
He had worked for Parson's Child and Family Center in Albany for 27 years. Jim was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed building models, reading, computers, civil war history and he adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his former wife, Sharon Davis Schreifels; his beloved daughters, Frances Lougee and Sarah Davis of Colonie; his cherished grandchildren, Alexandra and Emily Lougee. He is the brother of Sue Webb (Roger), Michelle Johnson, Jane Davis and Joseph Davis. He is the son in law of Raymond Hoffman Sr. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm at King's Chapel, 440 Route 9W, Glenmont. Funeral services will be celebrated at 7:00 Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers and at the request of the family, memorial contributions are suggested to Parson's Child & Family Center, 60 Academy Rd. Albany NY 12208 in memory of James D. Davis.
