SCHENECTADY - James M. Dowen, Jr., the beloved son of James, Sr. and Georgianna,
passed away on December 20, 2023 after a brief illness.
James was predeceased by the love of his life, Danielle; his brother, Danny Dowen and sister, Donna (Art) Hartwell.
James is survived by his sons Steven (Kate), James (Jeremy) and Jeffrey(Meredith); his grandchildren, Derek (Kristen), Daniel, Nadea, Jacob, Regan, and Brandon and his great granddaughter, Elara. He is also survived by his brothers, William Dowen, and Tim (Linda) Dowen and his sister, Louann Dowen.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday December 29, 2023 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northeastern New York.
