Jim entered into the Kingdom of God Wednesday February 25, 2009 at his home with his loving family at his side.

Jim was born in Saratoga Springs in 1943 to the late William A. Hennessey Sr. and Gladys V. Clough. He was a U S Army veteran who served his tour of duty in Germany. Jim was employed by G E in Schenectady until his retirement in 1999 and was a member of the G E Quarter Century Club.

He is survived by his two daughters: Cindy Walsh of Tennessee and Lori Wilson (Matt) of Saratoga Springs, NY, three brothers: William A. Hennessey (Sue) of Utah, Michael J. Hennessey, Sr. (Nancy) of Colonie, NY and Joseph P. Hennessey (Judy) of Rotterdam, NY, five grandchildren: Tashia, Heather and Tiffany Walsh and Madilyn and Andrew Wilson, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Albany County Hospice and especially Sheila for all of their support.

A private, family memorial service will be conducted.
