James F. O'Neil, Sr.

COLONIE – James F. O'Neil Sr., 66, of Colonie, died suddenly on Wednesday April 27, 2005 after being stricken at his home. He was born in Albany and was the son of the late John A. and Virginia O'Neil Sr.
Jim was a graduate of the former Philip Schuyler High School. He was an operating engineer for Local 106 in Albany for over 33 years, retiring several years ago. He was a longtime active member of the West Albany Rod & Gun club.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Sandra Norton O'Neil. He is the father of William J. O'Neil (Tammy), Kevin J. O'Neil (Theresa) and the late Sharon M. and James F. O'Neil Jr. He is the father in law of Anne O'Neil. Brother of Alice M. O'Neil and the late John A. O'Neil. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday from 4 to 7 pm at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Funeral services will be celebrated at 7:00 on Saturday evening at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 12 Launfal Street, Albany NY 12205 in memory of James F. O'Neil Sr.
