ALBANY – James H. Edmonds, 79, made his way home on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at St. Peter's Hospital. James is survived by his devoted wife, Addie Marie Edmonds; his loving children, Minister Carla (Bill) Broadnax, James Edmonds, Jr., Lisa Edmonds, and Lisa (David) Reid; his brother, Reverend Thomas Edmonds; four grandchildren and a great grandchild. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sweet Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 2-4 Ten Broeck St., Albany. Calling hours will precede the service from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church on Friday. Interment will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
