James H. Mons

COLONIE – James H. Mons, 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Ellis Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1944 in Albany and is the son of Dorothy M. (Dennis Mons) Cudemo and the late James H. Mons. He served in the US Army in the 1960's.
James worked as a machinist for General Electric for over 24 years. He was an avid volunteer and master scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America and he volunteered for the Schenectady School District.
In addition to his mother, James is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Priscilla J. (Good) Mons of Colonie; his son, James H. (Angie) Mons and his grandchildren, James, Jennifer and Kevin Mons all of Nurnberg, Germany; his brother, Michael A. (Dora) Cudemo of Leesburg, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-father, Angelo J. Cudemo and his brother, Richard A. Cudemo.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Memory's Garden in Colonie. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m.
