VOORHEESVILLE - James E. Hallenbeck Sr., 78, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing in Castleton-On-Hudson.
Jim was born on August 4, 1942 in Albany, son of the late John and Florence Hallenbeck. He served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964 attaining the rank of Airman First Class. He worked for NYS Thruway Authority.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ann L. (Van Kleeck) Hallenbeck; his children, Lori Hallenbeck, Jill Hallenbeck, Tammy (Mike) McGill and Jim (Rimi) Hallenbeck and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Carol, Janet (Dave), Joyce and Jack (Mary); sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Van Kleeck and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
