James J. Hanbury

Latham- James J. Hanbury "Jim", 82, passed away peacefully on, Thursday, June 29, 2017. He was the son of the late James P. and Blanche Hanbury. He is predeceased by his son Jimmie Pat Hanbury. James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sylvia Hanbury.

Jim for many years worked in Marine Trade Sales and most recently worked for Dunham's Bay. He was also a member of the Colonie Elks 2192.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his daughter Terri Miller as well as his two grand-daughters, Megan Minnicks and Alyx Gonch, his great grandchildren, Calvin, Melody and Jayce.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00pm at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will follow the calling hours starting at 12:00pm. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

At the family's request please dress casual, no suits or ties.
