Latham- James L. Hanna, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the son of the late Michael and Nagla Hanna. James was the devoted husband to Leala Hanna. They were married 39 years.
After graduating from high school, James enlisted in the United States Army Navy where he proudly served. Upon his honorable discharge, James went on to work as an Electrical Engineer at the New York Telephone Company until his retirement.
James was a devout catholic with a strong love of god. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge for many years.
James enjoyed spending time with his family and loved entertaining, traveling, eating lots of sweets, and a really good cigar.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by his children, Sharmain, Ravi, Shashi, Judy, Sarah and Gabriel and his grandchildren, Orion, Kedar, Anil and Benjamin.
