Schenectady – James L. Hubert, 37, passed away peacefully Saturday June 14, 2008 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born in Albany the son of Shirley (Smith) and Lawrence Hubert. He worked many years for Midas Muffler in the capital region. Most recently, Jim was the Manager of their Schenectady store. He loved everything outdoors, especially camping and fishing on the Ausable River and Racquette Lake, but his true passion was his daughters.
Jim is survived by his daughters; Katelynn and Jacklynn Hubert, his mother Shirley Hubert, his father Lawrence Hubert, step-mother Jerusha Hubert, his brothers; Thomas M. (Philip Prior) Hubert, Timothy L. (Vicki) Hubert and Steven T. Hubert, his nieces; Ashley, Amber and Autumn Hubert. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday at Christ Church, 970 State St., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
