COLONIE – James I. Taylor Sr., 82, began his spiritual walk with God on Saturday, October 20, 2012 after a short illness. Born in Richford, VT, he was the son of the late Flora (Inglis) and James Taylor.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and his RV friends from New York and Florida.

He is survived not only by his loving wife Lorena, but also his sister Iva Blackwell; daughter Joan (Harry) Cipriano; son James (Dee Vannie) Taylor, Jr.; grandchildren Christopher (Helen) and Ashley Cipriano, and Jeffrey (Kristen), James (Jennifer) and Tammy Taylor; great-grandchildren James, Jeffrey, Savanah and Ellie Taylor and Jack Cipriano, as well as several nieces and nephews.
