RAYMERTOWN – James J. Jackman, 64, of Raymertown, passed away on Friday May 11, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital. He was born in Tarrytown, NY and is the son of Agnes Jackman and the late James J. Jackman.
Jim, before his retirement, worked in Design and Construction for NYS Office of General Services. He was a life long follower of the NY Yankees and NY Giants and an avid fan of John "Duke" Wayne. He will be remembered for his loving heart in which he held his family, reading, and the outdoors.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by brothers Robert (Gloria), Thomas (Kathy) and nephews Robert, Michael and Gary. Also, he is survived by his beloved fiancé Carol L. McDonald and her children, Thomas (Deborah) McDonald, Lynn (Paul) Oakley, Lisa (Steve) Mahan, Diane (Rob) Noble, Chris (Jen) McDonald and Sondra (Fred) Stern. He is additionally survived by 16 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
