James Johnson Jr. age 66 departed this life on Friday, September 29, 2017.
Jimmy was born on July 5, 1951 in Albany, NY. Son of Lydia Johnson, and the late James "Chico" Johnson, grandchild of the late Mary Johnson Dukes, William and Theodosia Bowler.
Jimmy grew up in Albany NY. He attended and graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. While Jimmy was attending Philip Schuyler, he worked at Albany Medical Center to support his first love, music. His love of music took him all over the United States and Canada.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Lydia Johnson, children Michael Johnson-Fallen, Matthew Johnson, Jordon Johnson-Robinson, siblings Renee (Desmond) Ogunyase, Joseph " JoJo" Johnson and Donna Johnson Boykin, Cedric Laws, Sidest Mahadi Johnson, five grandchildren Iesha, Ashley, Ray-Quan, Dwaniesha, Amir Fallon. Nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins along with other relatives and close friends.
